Berthing

Berthing will be provided by Edgewater Yacht Club for registered boats from June 26, 2025, to Jun 30, 2025, in locations assigned by the EYC Dockmaster. Prior arrangements for keelboats must be made with the Dockmaster by calling the EYC Gas Dock at 216-281-1518 ext. 129 or emailing dock@eycweb.com. If additional days are desired, arrangements may be made through the EYC Dockmaster. Charges may apply for additional days.

Standard Class Schedule for PHRF Spinnaker, PHRF JAM & J105:

• Thursday: One (1) Distance Race, 1855 first warning signal
• Friday: One (1) Distance Race, 1855 first warning signal
• Saturday: Multiple Buoy Races, 0955 first warning signal
• Sunday: Multiple Buoy Races, 0955 first warning signal

The North Coast Challenge

The North Coast Challenge will be held during the Cleveland Race Week Offshore Regatta. This event presents a unique and exhilarating opportunity for cruising yachts and double-handed teams to immerse themselves in the thrill of offshore sailing. Designed for those who prefer the rhythm of one distance race per day, this event welcomes cruising sailors, family, and friends to come together and experience the majestic North Coast of Cleveland from the unparalleled perspective of the open water. It's an excellent avenue to foster camaraderie, refine sailing skills, and simply enjoy the beauty of sailing in a friendly competitive environment. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or new to the world of cruising yachts, the North Coast Challenge offers an accessible and memorable way to explore the waters, making it a highlight of Cleveland Race Week.

North Coast Challenge Schedule

• On Thursday and Friday competitors within the North Coast Challenge will compete in the traditional evening distances races of Cleveland Race Week.
• On Saturday competitors within the North Coast Challenge will compete in a medium-to-long distance race (course TBD), with a target time on the water of 4 to 6 hours. 
• On Sunday competitors within the North Coast Challenge will compete in a short-to-medium distance race (course TBD), with a target time on the water of 2 to 4 hours.
